Welcome to our NAS Membership page. The National Allotment Society offers membership to individuals, local allotment associations, schools, local authorities and land owners. Each type of membership offers a host of benefits and support services.
The fees are set by National Allotment Soicety as follows and will also incur a one off charge of £1 for a share on joining.
Allotment societies & associations - £3.00 per member, per year (1 - 10 members £30.00 per year, associations with over 10 members, £3.00 per member, per year. The National Allotment Society cannot accept membership applications from associations who knowingly under-affiliate)
Individual members - £23 per year
Life members - £500
Schools - £10 per year
Local authorities (covers council but not plot-holders) - £55 + VAT per year
Land owners - £55 +VAT per year
IMPORTANT
Memberships that are not signed up to with Newland Allotments & Tenants Assoication cannot be processed without a membership form, this includes any memberships paid for by PayPal. If you wish to apple seperately please ensure you click read more below which will take you to the NAS website.

No, if you want to apply for the annual membership without a NATA membership you can do this online via their website, but this will cost you £23.00 a year. If you want to purchase an assoication NAS membership for £3.00 then yes, you must have a membership with NATA before applying for NAS through the association.
This is a yearly membership and starts from the moment you sign up, you will need renew when your membership lapses. This membership time lapse is dependant on the the date you sign up for the membership.
